Barley & Font proudly directs a portion of our proceeds toward childhood literacy, helping put books into the hands of kids who need them most.
Barley & Font was built around a simple idea: bring good men together over good books, good drinks and better conversation.
But we believe being part of a community also means contributing to it.
As Barley & Font grows, so should our impact.
That's why purchases made through Barley & Font help support organizations working to improve childhood literacy in the communities our Tables call home.
One of the organizations we're proud to support is Real Men Read, a community literacy initiative that brings male volunteers into schools to read with students, encourage a love of reading and help provide books to children.
The idea fits naturally with what Barley & Font stands for.

Barley & Font may bring gentlemen together under one banner, but every Table belongs to a community.
As our network of Tables grows, our goal is to connect the success of Barley & Font with literacy efforts serving those local communities.
A book purchased by a gentleman in one community can ultimately help another reader discover his or her first great book.
Because the next generation deserves a seat at the reading table, too.

Barley & Font
Barley & Font Gentlemen's Book Club began in December of 2022, when a handful of men in Kokomo, Indiana — not all friends at first, deliberately so — united by one thing: a desire to read more books and gather around a table with beer and bourbon to discuss them. Founded by Santos Salinas and Ryan Minick.
