The shelves
A good book is why we put on the jacket and pull up a chair. At Barley & Font, the tables have already marched through the survivor mosaic of World War Z, followed Richard into the dangerous paradise of The Beach, and clocked in with Chinaski in The Post Office—proof that the right story can outlast the last pour. Open the Grand Library for every title we have finished together, or follow the recommendations fellow gentlemen have put forward. The next great read is already waiting on the shelf.
Member picks will appear here once recommended titles have been approved.
Club scores will appear here once titles in the Grand Library have been rated.
Barley & Font Gentlemen's Book Club began in December of 2022, when a handful of men in Kokomo, Indiana — not all friends at first, deliberately so — united by one thing: a desire to read more books and gather around a table with beer and bourbon to discuss them. Founded by Santos Salinas and Ryan Minick.
